Radhesh Amin grew up in Marietta, Georgia, and attended Georgia Institute of Technology, where he earned a B.S. in Computer Science in 2021. He went on to obtain his medical degree from Medical College of Georgia. Following his Transitional Year at Northside Hospital Gwinnett, he will continue his training in Diagnostic Radiology at University of Alabama at Birmingham. Radhesh chose Northside Gwinnett for its excellent clinical training and the opportunity to remain close to home. Outside of medicine, he enjoys watching and playing sports, spending time with family and friends, and exploring Atlanta’s food scene.
Daniel Burke was born in New Orleans but spent much of his life in Atlanta, Georgia. He earned his undergraduate degree in Business Management from Georgia College and State University before completing a post-baccalaureate program at Georgia State University to pursue a career in medicine. Prior to medical school, he developed a strong interest in neurorehabilitation, which led him to found an Atlanta-based noninvasive brain stimulation clinic treating patients with stroke and traumatic brain injury. He then attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he remained actively involved in research and volunteer work with rehabilitation patients and adaptive athletes, further deepening his commitment to helping patients restore function and independence. He was drawn to Northside Hospital for his Transitional Year because of its strong clinical training, diverse patient population, and supportive learning environment. Following this year, he will begin his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Emory University, where he plans to pursue a career focused on neurorehabilitation and sports medicine. Outside of medicine, he enjoys mountain biking, boxing, following sports, reading, and spending time with his wife and dog.
Shae Chambers was born in Torrance, California, and raised in Kailua, Hawaii. She attended the University of Pennsylvania, graduating magna cum laude with honors in Neuroscience in 2019, and later worked as a medical assistant in a direct primary care clinic in Los Angeles during the COVID-19 pandemic.
She went on to attend medical school at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Between her third and fourth years of medical school, Shae completed a one-year predoctoral research fellowship in autoimmune skin disease at the University of Pennsylvania under the mentorship of Dr. Victoria Werth, where she focused on cutaneous lupus. During this time, she served as the lead fellow on Project CHANGE, a community-based initiative funded by Lupus Therapeutics aimed at increasing Black patient participation in lupus clinical trials, reflecting her strong interest in complex medical dermatology and health equity.
Following her Transitional Year at Northside Hospital, Shae will begin her dermatology residency at UC San Diego. In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga at CorePower, baking Asian-inspired treats, going to the movies, and hands-on creative projects.
Julian Henke grew up in Northern California before moving to Atlanta to attend Emory University, where he double majored in physics and jazz piano before earning his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. During medical school, Julian developed a wide range of interdisciplinary work spanning aerospace medicine, dermatology, neurology, psychiatry, pain, medical education, artificial intelligence, and medical device innovation. With a background in physics, he has been especially interested in applying technology, imaging, and first-principles problem solving to improve clinical care and patient outcomes. His work has included research in dermatologic imaging and emerging technologies, entrepreneurial projects, and development of patent-pending medical technology.
Julian is excited to begin his Transitional Year at Northside Hospital Gwinnett and continue caring for the Georgia community that has become home over the past decade. In the future, he hopes to build a career that integrates clinical medicine, innovation, education, entrepreneurship, and technology-enabled patient care.
Outside of medicine, Julian enjoys spending time with his wife and their growing family including their baby, two dogs, and three cats. He also enjoys playing music, cooking, creative projects, entrepreneurship, and exploring the culinary scene and outdoors with his family.
Eunheh (Grace) Koh was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to Decatur, Georgia at 5 years old. She received her BS/MPH degree in Environmental Health from Emory University and her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. During medical school, she deepened her commitment to environmental advocacy through research and medical education initiative.
Following the completion of her Transitional Year, Grace will head to the University of Virginia to complete her dermatology residency training. At Northside, she is excited to engage in excellent clinical training alongside unique non-clinical electives, including opportunities to work with the Department of Public Health. Outside of medicine, she loves spending time with her family and friends, trying different bubble tea cafes, and scuba diving (she recently got her PADI open water certification)!
Aaroh Patel was born in Newport News, Virginia but considers himself a Georgia native after spending most of his life growing up in Albany, GA. Aaroh graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Afterwards, he entered medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. He chose Northside Hospital Gwinnett for its robust clinical training and to spend more time with family after being away from home for school. Following his transitional year, Aaroh will continue his training in Diagnostic Radiology at Emory.
Outside of medicine, Aaroh enjoys weightlifting, playing video games, creative writing and spending quality time with his friends and family.
Paul was born in Nigeria, grew up in eastern North Carolina, and went to undergraduate at UNC Chapel Hill where he met his partner, Elise. After graduation, they moved to Atlanta where he worked at the Shepherd Center until he started medical school at EmoryUniversity. Around that time, they bought a house, adopted a dog, Theo, and started fostering their son, Chris. Since then, they have adopted Chris and welcomed their daughter Chloe into the world! Paul loves all things soccer and has supported Manchester United his entire life. His goal is to become the best rehab doctor possible. He chose Northside for his training because he knew they would provide exceptional, patient-centered training.
