Academic Internal Medicine Partners (AIMP) provides chronic disease management, health promotion and general medical primary care services for adults as well as primary care services for infants and children. Our facility is specifically designed so that patients of all ages and those with special health care needs, including physical disabilities and other impairments, are comfortable. Along with our compassionate, capable staff, we offer fully adjustable exam tables, mobility aids and devices to help with hearing difficulties. We also offer free medical interpretation services for patients with limited English proficiency.

AIMP proudly serves as the outpatient teaching site of the Northside Hospital Gwinnett Internal Medicine Residency Program. We offer educational opportunities for resident physicians, medical students and other health professional students.
As a part of our teaching program, patients will receive care by a team of attending physicians and resident physicians* who provide state-of-the-art, high quality care to patients using proven, evidence-based techniques. Our Internal Medicine Resident Physicians partner with and are supported by Board Certified Internal Medicine Physicians.
*Resident physicians have finished medical school and are receiving training in a specialized area such as Internal medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, etc.
These attending physicians oversee residents and are accepting patients in their own private clinic.
These supervising physicians are accepting new patients in partnership with resident primary care physicians. All patients will receive high quality care from a combined team of resident and attending physicians.
