Interests: Bedside procedural training and education, point of care ultrasound (POCUS) and medical student education

Background: After immigrating to Georgia from South Korea as a young child, Dr. Lee has stayed in Georgia for all of his education and training, and now serves the community which brought him up. Dr. Lee served as a chief resident during his PGY-3 year at Northside Hospital Gwinnett. In both residency and as faculty, Dr. Lee has been recognized for his commitment to teaching, and has been awarded the Peer Teacher Award in 2019 and the faculty Lesser Teaching award in 2021. In his role as APD, he also serves as the site-director for NHG’s inpatient clerkship and sub-internship for medical students and has promoted of the curricular advancements at NHG including POCUS, Advocacy and Procedural training Dr. Lee is a huge Atlanta sports fan including the Hawks and the Falcons. He also enjoys watching MMA and has started to train in Brazilian Jiu-Jit-su. His favorite TV show all time is How I Met Your Mother and House, M.D.
