Born and raised from the vibrant landscapes of Nigeria, Dr. Patience Amadi-Nwimo academic journey led her from the cultural richness of Ukraine to the serene shores of St. Vincent. Alongside her studies, she honed my skills in singing, finding solace and expression through music, while also exploring the art of capturing life's moments through videography. As she delved deeper into her academic pursuits, her passion for global health and primary care emerged, driving my aspirations towards making a tangible impact in healthcare systems worldwide. Northside emerged as the ideal choice for training due to its emphasis on community health, and its commitment to fostering the next generation of healthcare leaders dedicated to making a tangible impact on a global scale.
Her hobbies include content creation, singing as a background vocalist, cooking and hanging out with friends.
Dr. Amy Goh was born in South Korea. She grew up in Santa Rosa, California, the birthplace of the Peanuts comic. She received B.A. in Psychology at UC Berkeley and completed medical school at Touro University Nevada. She is thrilled to begin her medical training at Northside Hospital Gwinnett. Her professional interests lie in lifestyle medicine and cardiology.
Outside of medicine, Amy enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as doing yoga, hiking, cooking, and traveling.
Dr. Flavia Liberato is a dedicated physician from Brazil where she completed medical school, internal medicine residency and geriatrics fellowship before moving to the US. Her areas of clinical interest include Hospital Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine, Geriatrics, Palliative Care, and Hazard of Hospitalization Prevention.
She believes that healthy aging is directly correlated to making healthy choices throughout your youth. That's why she is always concerned with providing comprehensive care focusing on a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention. Outside of medicine, she is a soccer mom who loves spending time with her family and friends, cooking, traveling, and exercising.
She is thrilled to be restart her career at Northside Hospital Gwinnett.
Dr. Bobak Moazzami was born in Miami, Florida, and raised in Tehran, Iran. After completing high school, he entered Babol University of Medical Sciences. During medical school, he developed a strong interest in clinical research, successfully publishing several articles in immunology and gastroenterology. It was during this period that he realized his passion for internal medicine. After graduation, he decided to move back to the US, aspiring to practice medicine in the world's top healthcare system. This ambition led him to Atlanta, GA, where he joined Emory University. Here, he began a postdoctoral research fellowship, conducting clinical trials focused on diabetes management. His clinical interests include hospital medicine, gastroenterology, and endocrinology. Outside medicine, Bobak holds a black belt in Taekwondo and enjoys running and hiking.
Dr. Moazzami has grown to love Atlanta and its residents. He is thrilled to join Northside Hospital, committed to contributing to the community and serving the people of Gwinnett County, which he now considers his home.
Dr. Stephanie Obialo is native to Texas where she grew up in the suburb of Coppell, TX near Dallas. She went to Loyola University Chicago and majored in Biology with a minor in Asian studies and Literature. She always had a passion of medicine from the young age of 6 with an inspiration from her mother, an endocrinologist, but when she entered university, she developed other passions. She learned Japanese and decided to work in Japan as an assistant language teacher on the JET program then later ventured into Japanese television by working at a Tokyo-based production company as an assistant director. She later returned to the United States with a renewed motivation to follow her dreams of becoming a physician and entered Touro University Nevada in Las Vegas, NV.
She chose Northside Hospital - Gwinnett because it was the program that would provide her the opportunity to foster her passions of internal medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine as this program is one of the few osteopathically recognized internal programs in the country.
Her professional interests include osteopathic manipulative medicine, lifestyle medicine, and endocrinology. In her free time, she likes to crochet, keep up with the latest tv shows and movies, travel, spend time with friends and family, read, learn languages, and take long walks.
Dr. Kush Pathak was born in Ahmedabad, India, immigrated to the United States during his childhood, and settled in Cincinnati, Ohio. At the age of 16, he relocated to Georgia, where he went on to pursue his undergraduate studies at Georgia State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in biology. Kush then attended the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Auburn, Alabama, graduating in 2024. His medical interests include hospital medicine and infectious disease, and he is eager to advance his medical training at Northside.
Beyond medicine, Kush enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and cherishing moments with his loved ones.
