Background: Dr. Osayande grew up and attended medical school in her home country of Nigeria. After completing residency in North Carolina, Dr. Osayande spent one year in private practice before joining UT Southwestern Family Medicine program in Dallas, Texas, where she spent six years; four as a core faculty with the last two as associate program director. She moved to Lawrenceville GA in where she joined Northside in 2016. Dr. Osayande is well published and continues to write and serve as peer reviewer for multiple journals and evidence based resources including American Family Physician (AFP), Journal of Family Practice (JFP), and Journal of American Board of Family Medicine (JABFM). She serves as a committee member of the National Journal Club Committee of the American Board of Family Medicine and is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor, Family Medicine, Augusta University/University of Georgia Medical Partnership and Philadelphia College of Medicine Georgia.
