We are a team of clinicians and educators dedicated to providing outstanding care to patients in the Atlanta region. Our mission is to improve and promote the healthcare delivery system in Georgia by educating fellow physicians. Through a multidisciplinary approach, fellows learn from a diverse team of providers, consultants, trainers, coaches, physical therapists, and family members. We also prioritize community education on injury prevention and optimizing training regimens for individuals and teams.

Collaborating with various departments at Northside Hospitals, including Family Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, Concussion Institute, and community sites, we offer exceptional experiences in:
The fellowship provides comprehensive training in musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal disease in active individuals. Fellows work with athletes from the initial injury through diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. Didactics, workshops, and a musculoskeletal ultrasound curriculum are integrated throughout the year. Fellows gain experience with core faculty in multiple primary care sports medicine disciplines, learning both operative and non-operative rehabilitation strategies. By the end of the fellowship, graduates will be prepared and eligible to successfully complete the examination for the Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine (CAQ).
We work to prepare fellows to be exceptional clinicians, effective educators, and ethical leaders in non-operative sports medicine.
