Background: Background: Dr. Lane is an associate program director at Northside Gwinnett Internal Medicine residency. She is a med-peds primary care physician and is passionate about providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages. She has a special interest in Obesity Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine, and she co-runs the residency’s Lifestyle Medicine track. She is a member of the Obesity Medicine Association’s Clinicians-In-Training committee, which works to improve trainees’ education about caring for patients with obesity. She won the Ambulatory Preceptor of the Year award in 2024 and 2025, and she enjoys incorporating primary care teaching into resident education. In her free time she enjoys cooking, staying active, and traveling and exploring with her husband and kids.
