We are happy that you are considering our hospital as an institute to continue your medical training. As an affiliate of Northside Hospital, you will train in a medical center of excellence that provides high-quality health care.

Currently we offer the following ACGME approved postgraduate programs: Internal Medicine - Preliminary Year, Categorical Positions Family Medicine - Categorical Positions, Transitional Year Program as well as a Sports Medicine Fellowship. Our Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Programs have Osteopathic Recognition which allow trainees the potential for board-certification in both allopathic and osteopathic medicine. Our well-credentialed core faculty consisting of Doctors of Osteopathic and Allopathic Medicine are dedicated to ensuring our residents and fellows have the highest quality clinical experience and extensive medical training during their time in our programs.

GME Programs

We offer THREE residency programs and a fellowship in the following ACGME-approved postgraduate programs: Internal Medicine - Preliminary Year, Categorical Positions; Family Medicine - Categorical Positions; Transitional Year Program; as well as a Sports Medicine Fellowship. GME offers many Academic Half Days, Journal clubs, virtual and in-person learning experiences, CME opportunities and furthering education programs.

Internal Medicine Residency

Our Residents are offered a broad and thorough exposure to comprehensive general internal medicine while retaining the flexibility to meet the needs of the professional goals of each individual resident.

Family Medicine Residency

Our residents are exposed to all aspects of Family Medicine, providing them with the knowledge and skills to practice and deliver excellent health care.

Transitional Year

Transitional Year Residency

This one-year program is designed to provide Transitional Year residents the opportunity to experience a variety of specialties throughout their internships

Colorectal

Sports Medicine Fellowship

This program enables primary care physicians to develop expertise in the area of sports medicine with the joint cooperation of Northside Hospital departments including Family Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery and Concussion Institute.
